What you will do

• Provide academic and technological training to students to ensure they meet desired learning outcomes.
• Design and implement lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles and individual student needs.
• Perform academic advising and career-related counseling to support student retention and success.
• Evaluate student progress using a variety of methods, including cooperative learning and teamwork.
• Collaborate with campus departmental staff and participate in academic committees for program enrichment.
• Ensure all instruction complies with State, Department of Education, and accreditation regulations.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in San Jose, CA for on-campus evening shifts (M-TH 5:30pm-9:45pm).
• Minimum of a High School Diploma; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Three (3) years of demonstrable hands-on clinical experience in a medical assistant role.
• Current knowledge of Medical Assistant practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Canvas LMS is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and oral presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program.
• Certified Medical Assistant credential (RMA, CMA, NRCMA).
