What you will do

• Develop and maintain responsive, accessible front-end applications for GSA modernization efforts.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate APIs and AI-enabled platform functionality into the user experience.
• Translate designs, wireframes, and product requirements into reusable UI components.
• Implement new features and address defects aligned with the modernization roadmap.
• Ensure all solutions comply with federal security and accessibility requirements (e.g., Section 508, NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP).
• Contribute to DevSecOps and CI/CD practices related to front-end deployment.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience in front-end application development.
• Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks, preferably React and NextJS (Angular or Vue also acceptable).
• Strong experience building responsive web applications using HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, and CSS.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Experience working in Agile environments with Git and standard collaborative workflows.

Nice to have

• Exposure to cloud-hosted or containerized application environments.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (Section 508/WCAG).
