Latent Bridge Examiner (Biometrics): Performing specialized fingerprint analysis and casework management for Tenprint and Latent Print Units with an accent on CABIS comparisons and forensic accuracy. Location: Hybrid (San Diego, CA), 2 days a week on client site. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust government clearance are required.

What you will do

• Execute Tenprint Examiner responsibilities, performing CABIS comparisons and ULF transactions to maximize identification accuracy.
• Manage and approve deportation-related casework and complex OFS cases, ensuring rigorous oversight of evidentiary requirements.
• Review and sign off on all latent print casework to maintain strict quality control and laboratory accreditation standards.
• Oversee Interop queue operations, including processing deletion requests and completing comprehensive reports.
• Provide expert pre-trial consultations and deliver defensible findings as an expert witness in courtroom testimony.
• Lead onboarding, continuous training, and develop specialized certification courses (IAI standards) for latent examiners.

Requirements

• AA or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or 10+ years of professional print comparison experience.
• IAI Certified Tenprint Examiner certification.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust government clearance.
• Proficiency in fingerprint sizing and CABIS (Computerized Automated Biometric Identification System) searching.
• Proven identification accuracy at or above 99.95% SLA for the past two years.
• Willingness to adjust work schedules for urgent, high-profile cases in accordance with California law.
