What you will do

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for patients struggling with substance abuse.
• Develop and revise personalized patient treatment plans while maintaining accurate records.
• Perform intake and readmission services for new and returning patients.
• Provide crisis intervention and coordinate care with community providers.
• Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Participate in in-service training and professional development programs.

Requirements

• Must hold current counseling credentials (LAC, CAC, PLPC, LPC, LMSW, RAC, or RSW) as required by the state.
• Must possess a relevant human service degree (Masters or Bachelors).
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient information with professional judgment.
• Understanding of human behavior and the substance abuse population.
• Ability to work effectively in stressful situations and seek supervisory direction when needed.
