Senior Planner (HVP)

TL;DR

Senior Planner (HVP): Creating and maintaining full-lifecycle project schedules for a FOAK Liquid Air Energy Storage (LAES) scheme with an accent on Primavera P6 planning, schedule risk management (QSRA), and NEC4-compliant progress and reporting. Focus on integrating schedule with cost/cashflow and earned value outputs, and managing change control using critical path analysis and float erosion.

What you will do

• Develop and manage scheduling processes and documentation (basis of schedule, WBS/OBS/CBS, cost accounts, activity coding structures).
• Produce and maintain fully cost and resource loaded Primavera P6 master and detailed construction schedules (levels 4/5) plus periodic lookahead schedules.
• Embed schedule risk management using Quantitative Schedule Risk Management Analysis (QSRA) and ensure appropriate time risk allowances.
• Align schedule with project cost estimate/cashflow and resource forecasting/utilisation.
• Run schedule update and submission processes in line with NEC4 requirements, including periodic progress capture and reporting outputs.
• Support contract management and change control (critical path analysis, float erosion, rules of credit, KPI development, compensation event impact schedules) and coordinate with project controls and commercial teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in an EPC environment.
• NEC3/4 qualification and/or significant experience.
• Expert capability in Primavera P6 planning software.
• Capability in Microsoft 365 (MS Office, Teams, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication plus strong analytical skills.

Nice to have

• BSc/BEng/MSc in Engineering, Construction Project Management, or a relevant subject.
• APM, AcostE, or APE membership and/or qualification.
• Certified Oracle P6 training (P102 & P106).
• Power BI, Power Platform, and SAP experience.
