🚀 We’re Hiring: Platform Orchestration Engineer (Kubernetes / Backend / Multi-Cluster)

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join a joint SAP project focused on platform orchestration, multi-cluster management, and integration between Kubernetes and non-Kubernetes platforms (Cloud Foundry, LSS). You’ll work on distributed systems, state synchronization, workflow orchestration, and integration across multi-system/multi-cluster environments.

⚠️ Important: Only candidates located within the European Union (EU) will be considered. Remote from EU only.

🛠 Tech Stack

Must Have:
Kubernetes (platform-level, not just deployment)
Backend / Programming (APIs, integration, system logic)
Multi-system / Multi-cluster environments
Orchestration / Lifecycle management
System integration (e.g., Kubernetes + other platforms)
Distributed systems
State synchronization / Workflow orchestration
Good to Have:
Cloud Foundry
LSS / Concourse (CI/CD pipelines)
SAP BTP, Gardener, MCP
Platform orchestration layers / Platform mesh
Pipeline orchestration design & maintenance
📋 What You’ll Be Doing
Designing and implementing platform orchestration solutions for multi-cluster Kubernetes environments
Integrating Kubernetes with non-Kubernetes platforms (Cloud Foundry, LSS)
Building backend APIs and system logic for platform lifecycle management
Managing state synchronization and workflow orchestration across distributed systems
Working on multi-system and multi-cluster orchestration at platform level
Collaborating within an SAP-focused engineering project team
Driving integration between Kubernetes and other platforms
Supporting continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and orchestration layers

🎯 What We’re Looking For

Must Have:
Advanced Kubernetes knowledge (platform-level)
Strong backend/programming skills (APIs, integration, system logic)
Experience with multi-system / multi-cluster environments
Experience with orchestration and lifecycle management
Proven ability in system integration (e.g., Kubernetes + other platforms)
Understanding of distributed systems
Understanding of state synchronization and workflow orchestration
Good to Have:
Working knowledge of Cloud Foundry
Hands-on experience with LSS / Concourse (CI/CD pipelines)
Familiarity with SAP BTP, Gardener, and MCP
Experience with platform orchestration layers / platform mesh
Experience designing and maintaining pipeline orchestration (not just using pipelines)
