What you will do

• Establish and maintain the project Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS), CWBS index, and dictionaries.
• Develop cost performance reports and analyze cost performance data.
• Establish and maintain a Project Master Schedule in consultation with project managers.
• Assist in the development of project budgets and selection of earned value techniques.
• Coordinate the preparation and implementation of contract change proposals and amendments.
• Mentor less experienced planners, project managers, and task managers in monitoring and control.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a project planner and controller for medium to high complexity projects.
• Must be an Australian citizen and hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance (Baseline/NV1/NV2).
• Strong knowledge of project performance measurement using Earned Value (AS-4817 and Defence Supplement).
• Experience developing reports using MS Excel data models and Power BI.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Open Plan Professional, and cost management software (preferably COBRA).
• Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science, or business (desirable).
