What you will do

• Own and improve the internal developer platform and the team's wider product portfolio.
• Build and maintain shared tooling, templates, and internal libraries to accelerate development across the firm.
• Support observability, monitoring, and alerting to enable engineer self-service for production issues.
• Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to ensure developer workflows meet security and compliance requirements.
• Write and maintain developer documentation, onboarding guides, and runbooks.
• Iteratively ship improvements based on feedback from internal engineering users to enhance the developer experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python 3, Rust or similar backend languages.
• Experience deploying services on at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Experience with containerized services using Docker.
• Proven track record of shipping developer platforms or internal tooling that improved engineering velocity.
• Experience working with production SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code concepts (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar).
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch.
