ICT Engineer (Cloud): Developing and enhancing the T-Cloud Public platform with an accent on cloud backend operations and infrastructure automation. Focus on solving complex hyper-scaler problems, implementing monitoring/QA, and automating network services.

Location: Košice, Slovakia. Remote working is only available within Slovakia.

Salary: Base salary from 1300€ brutto

What you will do

• Solve complex problems in the daily operation of a hyper-scaler's cloud backend.
• Perform hardware-oriented tasks at the console.
• Develop and operate monitoring and quality assurance systems.
• Automate infrastructure and services using common automation frameworks.
• Collaborate within a specialist team using agile development processes.

Requirements

• Degree in a technical, engineering, or scientific subject or comparable training.
• Professional IT experience with a focus on modern cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of software-defined networks, routing, firewalls, and physical networks.
• Extensive experience in infrastructure automation and Linux.
• English: B2 (Upper Intermediate) required.
• Must be based in the European Union to meet data security and privacy requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenStack.
• Programming experience in open source projects.
