QC Technician III (Medtech)

What you will do

• Perform destructive and non-destructive testing, including Visual Inspection, Seal Width, and Instron Testing.
• Execute testing for Engineering Studies, Validations, and Product Development activities.
• Troubleshoot testing issues, equipment failures, and data anomalies, escalating findings to Engineering.
• Train and mentor junior QC technicians on test methods, procedures, and new equipment.
• Lead the collection, validation, and analysis of Statistical Process Control (SPC) data.
• Generate accurate documentation, quality records, and Certificates of Conformance for international shipments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required (Associate's or Bachelor's in Science, Math, or Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality functions within a regulated environment; FDA-regulated medical device experience ideal.
• Prior Instron testing experience or certification in Instron operator courses (Series IX, Merlin, or Blue Hill) required.
• Strong ability to read and interpret SOPs, protocols, and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with electronic quality systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office.
