CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Senior Audio Programmer to join the team responsible for audio technologies across multiple projects. In this role, you will work closely with sound designers, programmers, and other development teams to build and evolve audio systems that support the studio’s AAA titles, including projects within The Witcher and Cyberpunk universes.

You will help create new audio technologies, maintain existing solutions, and contribute to high-quality immersive sound experiences.

🚀 Responsibilities
• Collaborate across projects to develop and improve shared audio solutions
• Design and implement new audio features for gameplay and narrative experiences
• Maintain and optimize audio systems in Red Engine and Unreal Engine
• Support sound designers with audio implementation workflows
• Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure seamless audio integration
• Develop scalable and maintainable audio-related code systems
• Improve performance and reliability of audio technologies

📚 Required Skills
• 5+ years of professional experience in game development or related programming roles
• Strong C++ programming skills
• Experience designing scalable software architectures
• Experience working with Unreal Engine
• Ability to work with large and unfamiliar codebases
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with audio middleware solutions such as Wwise or FMOD
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

👍 Nice to Have
• Experience shipping a AAA title
• Experience developing games for PC or consoles
• Experience working with advanced game audio pipelines
• Knowledge of audio optimization techniques
