Senior Databricks Engineer (Databricks/PySpark): Building a B2B Sales Data Aggregation platform to unify CRM data from Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365 with an accent on ETL pipeline design and Delta Lake optimization. Focus on developing incremental connectors, implementing Bronze to Silver transformations, and delivering high-quality KPI dashboards for C-level leadership.

Location: Remote with occasional business trips to Zürich, Switzerland

What you will do

• Design and build ETL pipelines and CDC/incremental connectors for Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365 using Databricks-native patterns.
• Implement Bronze to Silver transformations using Delta Lake and reusable SQL/Notebook templates.
• Develop PySpark notebooks and apply Delta Lake optimisations such as compaction and Z-order.
• Build automated data-quality checks and deliver KPI dashboards for C-level stakeholders.
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and job orchestration using Databricks Jobs.
• Document architecture and data lineage via Unity Catalog and Delta time-travel.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Databricks and Delta Lake.
• Strong proficiency in PySpark, Python, and SQL.
• Proven experience integrating Salesforce and Dynamics 365 (APIs, CDC, Bulk API).
• Experience with Azure cloud services and Databricks workspace administration.
• English: Mandatory
