What you will do

• Develop internal applications and configure COTS solutions like Atlassian Jira to enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead new initiatives from stakeholder alignment and requirements engineering to solution design and system architecture.
• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams by collaborating closely with business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices and standards.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software features, processes, and workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure stable and reliable operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a completed software engineering apprenticeship.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
• Solid experience with Java/Kotlin and a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
• English: Mandatory; German: Highly desirable.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Atlassian tools, particularly in configuring and operating Jira.
