What you will do

• Translate security and risk requirements into automated, scalable, and developer-friendly security solutions.
• Design and implement security controls within CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
• Provide hands-on expertise on application security topics such as SCA, SAST, and secure coding.
• Develop and maintain security tooling to enhance automation and developer experience.
• Advise teams on secure-by-design practices during solution design and implementation.
• Improve security visibility by implementing metrics, dashboards, and reporting within CI/CD ecosystems.

Requirements

• Must be located in the Netherlands with the legal right to work in the Netherlands.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or DevSecOps roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Expertise in CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, Gitlab, or Github Actions).
• Hands-on experience with application security practices (SCA, SAST, secret scanning).

Nice to have

• Relevant DevSecOps or security certifications (e.g., CDP, CDE, CSSLP).
• Experience with container security and cloud-native environments.
