What you will do

  • Design and develop backend functionalities for banking applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and maintain integrations with internal and external banking services via REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Optimize database interactions to ensure system performance and scalability.
  • Implement security measures according to banking standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications to improve stability and user experience.
  • Collaborate in an agile environment and participate in code reviews and architectural decisions.

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience with Java development.
  • Hands-on expertise with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
  • Experience developing and consuming REST and/or SOAP web services.
  • Deep understanding of relational databases and backend application design.
  • Knowledge of application security principles and secure coding practices.
  • Experience with performance optimization and system monitoring.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployment environments.
