What you will do

• Act as the primary QA representative, driving quality ownership and engineering best practices within the team.
• Design and maintain automated testing solutions for APIs, integrations, and asynchronous systems.
• Independently identify test coverage requirements, quality risks, and gaps in delivery approaches.
• Validate payload mappings, downstream processing, and business-critical flows across multiple systems.
• Analyze logs and observability data to support root cause analysis of distributed system behaviors.
• Influence shift-left testing practices and contribute to scalable quality engineering frameworks.

Requirements

• Strong experience in API, integration, and automation testing.
• Ability to operate independently as the sole QA resource within a team environment.
• Deep understanding of integration testing approaches and distributed system behaviors.
• Experience working within agile delivery environments with competing priorities.
• Must be based in Poland.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java-based automation frameworks, Cucumber, and BDD.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and schema validation.
• Experience with Kafka, Azure Service Bus, or MuleSoft.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based architectures.
• Experience with observability and log analysis tools.
