Talent Development Lead

📍 Location: Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid)
Preply is looking for a Talent Development Lead to shape and scale learning, leadership development, onboarding, and AI enablement across its global organization. This is a strategic role for an experienced L&D leader who enjoys building programmes from the ground up and measuring real business impact.
What you’ll do:
— own Preply’s talent development strategy end-to-end
— design and evolve leadership development programmes for managers and senior leaders
— define learning impact metrics and use data to continuously improve programmes
— manage L&D budgets and external learning partners
— lead company-wide AI enablement and AI literacy initiatives
— build and improve leadership onboarding experiences
— create practical manager development frameworks and toolkits
— partner closely with People Partners and senior stakeholders across the business
What they’re looking for:
— 8+ years of experience in Learning & Development or Talent Development
— experience in high-growth tech, scale-up, or fast-paced environments
— proven track record designing and delivering end-to-end leadership programmes
— strong data-driven approach with clear success measurement practices
— ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
— experience with AI learning, enablement programmes, or strong interest in this area
— based in Barcelona or willing to relocate
