What you will do

• Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code using Svelte and SvelteKit.
• Lead technical discussions and propose solutions to drive team and company OKRs.
• Lead and independently complete medium-sized projects from start to finish.
• Mentor junior engineers by providing guidance and constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to effectively communicate technical concepts.

Requirements

• 9+ years of professional software engineering experience focusing on frontend development.
• Proficiency in Svelte and SvelteKit or other SSR frameworks (e.g., React/Next.js, Vue/Nuxt).
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Storybook.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be based in Melbourne, Australia.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js, Docker, and Cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or AWS Code Pipeline.
