What you will do

• Manage site safety in accordance with the H&S Management System.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness, including evacuation and fire drills.
• Facilitate accident and incident investigations and manage report records.
• Conduct risk assessments and carry out Occupational Hygiene monitoring.
• Produce weekly and monthly safety reports and maintain safety statistics.
• Support the delivery of training programs and site procedure education.

Requirements

• Unrestricted NZ work rights are required.
• 3+ years of experience in heavy industry H&S, preferably in underground environments.
• Relevant qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015 and NZ HSNO legislative environment.
• Full Class 1 Manual Drivers Licence and First Aid Certificate.
