What you will do

• Develop and deliver automation solutions, taking ownership of key project deliverables.
• Lead system design, development, and technical problem-solving activities.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Coordinate automation project delivery to meet timelines and objectives.
• Manage the full project lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and commissioning.
• Travel occasionally to support onsite project delivery.

Requirements

• University-level engineering qualification.
• New Zealand or Australian residency with full working rights.
• Proven success in delivering automation or control system projects.
• Experience with automation platforms such as Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens, and Aveva.
• Familiarity with functionality development, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and commissioning.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor junior team members.

Nice to have

• Understanding of industrial network setup and design.
• Process knowledge within the food and beverage industry.
• Experience with databases and general database concepts.
• Experience working with legacy control systems.
