What you will do

• Partner with Account Managers to understand customer pain points and run whiteboard network architecture reviews.
• Deliver Arista product presentations for Open Networking Data Center and Cognitive Campus solutions (including Wi-fi), plus CloudVision (network automation), security, endpoint security, and real-time fabric monitoring.
• Architect, design, and propose Data Center & Campus network solutions using leaf-spine architectures with VxLAN/EVPN and network overlays.
• Perform hands-on testing to validate customer proof-of-concept setups and network deployments.
• Support RFP/RFQ responses and author white papers on technology and products.
• Provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering and represent Arista at industry events.

Requirements

• BS/CS/CE technical degree.
• 7+ years of L2/L3 networking design and implementation experience focused on Data Center and Campus networks.
• Expert routing and switching knowledge with L2/L3 protocols (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, Aruba).
• Expert knowledge of CLI and strong understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g., Ethernet, VLANs, IP routing, TCP/IP, BGP/eBGP, VxLAN/EVPN, multicast, spanning tree, QoS).
• Demonstrated experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales SE, or Network Consulting Engineer.
• Network industry certification preferred (e.g., CCIE R&S, JNCIE).
