Salary: $120,000 – $170,000 per year

What you will do

• Write performance edge application software to acquire, process, and stream radiograph data
• Develop appliance firmware to maintain tight control loops for scanner peripherals
• Ship production-critical Linux-based applications and build testing infrastructure
• Architect data acquisition solutions that balance configurability and customizability
• Collaborate with product, research, hardware, and software teams to define requirements

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in low-level, high-performance software using Python and C
• Proficiency with embedded Linux, including udev, systemd, and kernel schedulers
• 3+ years of startup experience
• Experience integrating hardware platforms using vendor SDKs and manuals
• Mastery of software engineering fundamentals, debuggers, and Python concurrency (asyncio, threading, multiprocessing)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field

Nice to have

• Experience with NVIDIA CUDA and/or Jetson platform for hardware-accelerated image processing
• Knowledge of classical computer vision techniques and machine learning CV algorithms
• Experience shipping user-facing UIs written in React
