Salary: $101,998 – $130,630 per year.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable data ingestion, transformation, and storage workflows.
• Collaborate with developers and data scientists to align data solutions with project requirements.
• Develop and maintain data pipeline architecture using Apache Airflow and Spark.
• Implement data quality checks and validation procedures to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct unit, integration, and system testing to ensure application reliability.
• Document data engineering processes and pipeline configurations for future support.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a U.S. national security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of experience with Apache Airflow and Apache Spark.
• Advanced knowledge of containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm) and object storage.
• Proficiency in ETL processes, data warehousing, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• CompTIA Security+ Certification.
• Experience with TypeScript, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• In-depth understanding of the aerospace and defense industry.
• Knowledge of DoD software development policies.
