Salary: $108,000–$138,000 annually (for Houston-based candidates).

What you will do
- Design and implement robust, fault-tolerant backend services using Python and Django.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary global teams to build cutting-edge energy tariffs and customer-facing features.
- Develop and maintain asynchronous processing tasks using Celery.
- Model complex business domains and optimize database performance with PostgreSQL.
- Build and maintain efficient APIs using GraphQL.
- Contribute to an agile, flat-hierarchy environment focused on innovation and rapid delivery.
Requirements
- Must be based in the US with authorization to work.
- Strong proficiency in Python and web frameworks like Django.
- Experience with domain modeling and writing robust, fault-tolerant software.
- Familiarity with GraphQL and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with asynchronous processing using Celery.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across time zones, with a preference for Central or Eastern time zones.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
