What you will do

• Design and implement robust, fault-tolerant backend services using Python and Django.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary global teams to build cutting-edge energy tariffs and customer-facing features.
• Develop and maintain asynchronous processing tasks using Celery.
• Model complex business domains and optimize database performance with PostgreSQL.
• Build and maintain efficient APIs using GraphQL.
• Contribute to an agile, flat-hierarchy environment focused on innovation and rapid delivery.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US with authorization to work.
• Strong proficiency in Python and web frameworks like Django.
• Experience with domain modeling and writing robust, fault-tolerant software.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with asynchronous processing using Celery.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across time zones, with a preference for Central or Eastern time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure.
