What you will do

• Drive the architecture and technical direction of hirify.global Search and Vector capabilities.
• Design scalable, high-performance systems for vector search, retrieval, indexing, ranking, and AI serving.
• Lead complex cross-team initiatives across hirify.global Core, Cloud, AI, and infrastructure teams.
• Translate emerging industry trends and customer needs into technical investments and platform capabilities.
• Conduct technical design reviews and establish engineering best practices organization-wide.
• Mentor senior engineers to elevate the overall technical bar of the engineering organization.

Requirements

• Extensive experience building large-scale distributed systems, databases, search engines, or AI infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in vector search, information retrieval, distributed systems, or storage engines.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ or Rust, including concurrency and memory management.
• Proven track record of delivering highly scalable production systems at leading tech companies.
• Ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams and organizations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI retrieval systems for large-scale production environments.
• Familiarity with hirify.global internals or NoSQL database architectures.
• Open-source leadership or significant community contributions.
• Experience with hardware acceleration technologies like SIMD, GPU, or CUDA.
• Background in scaling engineering organizations and mentoring senior leaders.
