TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (Frontend): Elevating the reliability, performance, and quality of ’s Web Platform with an accent on architectural direction and observability. Focus on designing platform-level quality capabilities, optimizing end-to-end testing strategies, and integrating GenAI tools into the SDLC.
Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal (Office attendance required Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays)

What you will do
- Drive the long-term technical vision for Web Platform quality and reliability, focusing on performance, testability, and security.
- Design and implement platform-level quality capabilities, including testing frameworks, observability standards, and CI/CD guardrails.
- Identify systemic gaps and drive high-leverage improvements to enhance Web Platform stability and engineering standards.
- Mentor and coach engineers to foster a culture of technical curiosity, security, and engineering excellence.
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to balance technical excellence with business needs.
- Act as an AI Pioneer by integrating modern GenAI tooling into day-to-day workflows and mentoring teams on its adoption.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software development.
- 3+ years of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- 3+ years of experience with frameworks such as React, AngularJS, or VueJS.
- 4+ years of experience working in a product-focused company.
- Fluency in English.
- Must be based in Lisbon, Portugal to support the hybrid work model.
Nice to have
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end testing best practices and test framework optimization.
- T-shaped skill set combining deep expertise in quality/observability with broad web engineering knowledge.
