CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Software Engineer (C++) to join the team responsible for online and multiplayer technologies across multiple projects. You will work with game development teams to create networking solutions, community features, and developer tools that support millions of players worldwide.

The role combines backend, networking, systems architecture, and tooling development, with a strong focus on modern C++ and multiplayer technologies.

🚀 Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain libraries combining networking, gameplay, and community features
• Define application architecture and technical solutions for developer-facing tools
• Support game teams by delivering high-quality online and multiplayer systems
• Apply modern C++ best practices and engineering standards
• Implement performance measurements, testing strategies, and optimizations
• Collaborate with engineers using Agile methodologies
• Share knowledge and mentor other team members
• Research emerging technologies and implement industry best practices

📚 Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of modern C++ (C++11 or newer)
• Experience with software architecture and system design
• Understanding of client-server and peer-to-peer architectures
• Knowledge of networking and server security concepts
• Experience with version control systems, testing methodologies, and CI/CD
• Familiarity with Agile development processes
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent English
• Passion for games, online services, and gaming communities

👍 Nice to Have
• Experience with Unreal Engine
• Experience developing multi-platform software
• Experience with console development
• Basic Python knowledge
• Knowledge of multiplayer services, NAT traversal, VoIP, networking diagnostics, and performance optimization
• Experience with Conan, GitLab CI, or Kubernetes
• Experience with multithreaded programming
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
