UAT Analyst

TL;DR

What you will do

• Design, create, and build test cases, test plans, and test strategies for multiple software platforms, including automation test scripts.
• Collaborate with Software Development teams and Product Owners to understand requirements and develop/manage test scenarios for new projects.
• Communicate, prioritize, and track test execution, defects, and issues; recommend corrective actions when needed.
• Facilitate functional, regression, UI, and unit testing for new features across cross-browser environments and mobile devices.
• Lead problem resolution, coach Product Owners and developers, and mentor junior QA team members and offshore teams.
• Work with the development team and Database Administrators to identify system deficiencies and escalate issues for timely resolution.

Requirements

• Experience designing and executing UAT and broader QA activities across the development lifecycle (e.g., regression, functional, integration, end-to-end).
• Strong test case and test strategy design skills, including converting manual test preparation into automated test preparation.
• Experience with cross-browser testing and testing on mobile devices.
• Ability to track defects/issues and drive corrective actions with development stakeholders.
• Ability to coach and mentor junior QA professionals and support offshore teams.
• Location: Solihull.
