What you will do

• Design and implement scalable and reliable approaches to support or automate business decision-making.
• Acquire data by building SQL/ETL queries and import processes for S3, RedShift, and Spark storage systems.
• Build models using statistical, econometric, and network modeling, NLP, and machine learning algorithms.
• Implement and deploy state-of-the-art ML algorithms under Gen AI and build prototypes.
• Collaborate with engineering, AI, and product teams to align models with broader business goals.
• Mentor junior and mid-level data scientists and establish modeling standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of data scientist experience with a track record of solving complex business problems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Applied Math, Operations Research, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or statistical software like R, SAS, or Matlab.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies and modern frameworks.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Demonstrable, day-to-day expert knowledge of AI-forward coding tools such as Claude and Cursor.

Nice to have

• Experience handling and modeling data specifically within the healthcare industry.
• AWS certifications, such as Certified Data Engineer – Associate.
