Location: Remote (US). Preference for candidates in CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, KS, ME, MD, MI, NV, NJ, NY, NC, PA, SC, or UT. Must be able to work the US overnight shift: 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM ET (starting Sunday evening).

Salary: $90,000 – $115,000

What you will do

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to build and maintain infrastructure for hirify.global platforms.
• Monitor and optimize scalable infrastructure solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Debug build systems and utilize metrics and analysis to continuously improve build performance.
• Perform root cause analysis for incidents and monitor system capacity to ensure high-performance scaling.
• Partner with the information security team to mitigate software and hardware vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with distributed systems and network architectures.
• Deep knowledge of Linux and Linux Internals, including proficiency with the Unix command line.
• Strong experience in Python and shell scripting.
• Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Artifactory, Splunk, Netbox, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Must be based in the US and available for the overnight shift (11 PM - 8 AM ET).
