What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain in-house systems and integrations with third-party platforms.
• Collaborate with Risk and Finance teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical support for internal Python libraries and cloud infrastructure.
• Contribute to architectural design and the ongoing evolution of the technology platform.
• Implement new data visualizations for internal dashboards and reporting tools.
• Develop data integration services and perform scalable data cleansing and transformation.

Requirements

• Essential experience in a commodities trading environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python and analytical libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Plotly.
• Experience building APIs using Python frameworks, preferably FastAPI.
• Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, Cognito, ECS/Fargate, DynamoDB, CDK).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience designing or building event-driven architectures.
• Experience applying AI tools, LLMs, and agent-based workflows to business processes.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol servers for connecting AI agents to internal systems.
