Salary: $218,240 - $327,360 USD

What you will do

• Design and develop novel calibration solutions for factory and unstructured environments across camera, radar, lidar, and IMU sensors.
• Implement calibration technology to ensure the vehicle platform remains aware of its calibration state at all times.
• Collaborate with senior leadership at Latitude and Ford to deploy solutions across the product development lifecycle and post-launch.
• Mentor and coach engineers to develop their skills as contributors and calibration experts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field with 7+ years of experience (Master's + 5, or PhD + 2).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
• Strong mathematical expertise in calibration, numerical linear algebra, and optimization algorithms.
• Strong C++ coding skills for real-time applications.
• Experience with geometric computer vision and image, lidar, or radar processing.
• Strong problem-solving and algorithm design experience, particularly in the calibration domain.

Nice to have

• Experience calibrating devices or robots in a factory or manufacturing line environment.
• Experience with production robots operating in an uncontrolled environment.
• Experience with autonomous vehicles.
• Masters or PhD in Computer Science.
