What you will do

• Modernize deployment infrastructure by replacing legacy Ansible-based workflows with maintainable tooling in Python, Rust, or C++.
• Develop backend services for next-gen deployment tooling, integrating with Artifactory and Jenkins.
• Connect deployment systems with hardware-in-the-loop integration test frameworks to validate software updates.
• Build automation and tooling to reduce friction for engineers deploying software to autonomous vehicles.
• Collaborate with Security, Safety, and Embedded teams to meet strict automotive requirements.
• Enhance observability by implementing monitoring, logging, and debugging capabilities in deployment pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS, EE, Robotics, or related field with 4+ years of experience (or Master's with 2+ years, or PhD).
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation and service development.
• Experience with at least one systems language such as Rust, Go, or C++.
• Familiarity with Linux systems administration, including systemd, networking, and package management.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Terraform, Salt) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.

Nice to have

• Experience in DevOps or SRE roles within autonomous vehicles, robotics, or IoT domains.
• Familiarity with embedded Linux environments or deploying software to ECUs/edge devices.
• Experience with Bazel build systems.
• Knowledge of over-the-air (OTA) update systems or fleet management.
• Experience with gRPC/Protocol Buffers.
• Background in safety-critical or regulated industries (automotive, aerospace, medical).
