What you will do

• Own and evolve the vulnerability management program focusing on container images, dependencies, code scanning, and runtime detection.
• Build security tooling integrated directly into CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
• Utilize AI tools and LLMs to automate security analyses and scale tooling beyond manual capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement secure development practices and defaults.
• Investigate security findings and build automated systems to prevent and detect recurring issues.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software or platform engineering with a track record of building production-quality tools.
• Deep expertise in application security, CVEs, dependency risks, and SDLC integration.
• Hands-on experience with GCP/GKE or equivalent cloud infrastructure.
• Proven habit of using AI coding assistants and LLMs as a core part of the development workflow.
• Strong bias toward automation and comfort with ownership in ambiguous environments.
• Must be based in Madrid or Barcelona, Spain.
