What you will do

• Partner with engineering teams to secure cloud infrastructure, internal applications, and SDLC pipelines.
• Design and ship security guardrails and controls across cloud, product, identity, and AI surfaces.
• Secure AI usage, including internal agent systems and AI-powered workflows touching sensitive data.
• Own and operate cloud security tooling (SAST, SCA, IaC scanning) on AWS and GCP.
• Build foundational programs for asset management and Kubernetes hardening.
• Conduct architecture reviews and threat modeling for custom VC industry tooling.

Requirements

• 4+ years of security engineering experience at a senior IC level.
• Depth in CloudSec and Product Security, with breadth in enterprise security, identity, and AI.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in Python or Go for tooling development.
• Knowledge of AI security, including model risk, prompt injection, and agent governance.
• Must be able to work from the San Francisco, CA office 2 days a week.
