What you will do

• Set up, write, and edit programs for CNC machinery including lathes, mills, and drills.
• Maintain strict quality tolerances within .0003”.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work order routings to produce accurate parts.
• Inspect finished work using micrometers, bore gages, and calipers to verify specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Ensure all duties are performed in accordance with company safety policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical school education.
• Minimum 3 years of CNC machining programming and operating experience (5 years preferred).
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to operate a minimum of 2 CNC machine tools.
• Previous experience as a Manual machinist.
• Strong mathematical calculation and problem-solving skills.
