Automation Engineer (DevOps)

Automation Engineer (DevOps): Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation across cloud and on-prem environments with an accent on hybrid platform support and scalability. Focus on infrastructure provisioning, troubleshooting deployment pipelines, and bridging gaps between cloud and on-prem DevOps teams.

Location: Hybrid (Crystal City, VA) - At least one day onsite per week

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines in cloud (GitLab, AWS, EKS, Terraform, Docker) and on-prem (Jenkins, OpenShift, Ansible) contexts.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment across multiple environments.
• Troubleshoot, document, and continuously improve deployment, monitoring, and security automation for all platforms.
• Engage with cloud and on-prem teams through onboarding, peer programming, and joint solutioning.
• Share best practices across the DevOps organization to reduce silos and accelerate overall capability.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance or above required.
• Experience with Cloud stack: GitLab, AWS, EKS, Terraform, and Docker.
• Experience with On-prem stack: Jenkins, OpenShift, and Ansible.
• Must be able to work hybrid in Crystal City, VA (minimum 1 day onsite per week).
