What you will do

• Operate professional cinema cameras across various configurations, including handheld, tripod, dolly, gimbal, and crane.
• Build, configure, and troubleshoot complete camera packages and support systems.
• Execute complex rigging systems, including speed rail structures, vehicle rigs, and overhead mounts.
• Manage monitor deployment, signal routing, cable management, and power distribution for video engineering.
• Lead and provide direction to freelance crew members and temporary technicians.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures related to rigging, electrical systems, and equipment movement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience supporting camera, grip, rigging, or video operations.
• Proficiency with professional cinema camera systems and production equipment.
• Strong understanding of mounting systems and production safety practices.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in high-pressure production environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently for production assignments.
• Physical ability to lift and move production equipment throughout extended production days.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting multi-camera productions.
• Expertise with wireless video transmission systems and on-set monitoring workflows.
• Advanced rigging and specialty camera build experience.
• Experience leading freelance crews or mentoring junior technicians.
