What you will do

• Drive the execution and roadmap for audio software across multiple hirify.global product lines and markets.
• Manage the end-to-end development lifecycle from concept and architecture to rollout and sustaining.
• Lead and mentor a multi-site engineering team, fostering a supportive culture and professional development.
• Implement AI-driven development tools and agentic workflows to enhance engineering productivity.
• Collaborate with SoC vendors and cross-functional teams to define requirements and resolve complex technical issues.
• Define and enforce engineering best practices including code quality, design reviews, and performance benchmarking.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Aarhus, Denmark.
• Proven experience leading and managing high-performing, distributed engineering teams.
• Strong background in embedded software development for consumer electronics using C/C++.
• Experience with real-time audio/video processing and SoC architectures.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols and wireless communication like Bluetooth/BLE.
• Excellent communication skills in English for working with global stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with embedded Linux or RTOS-based systems.
• Curiosity and experience with AI-assisted development paradigms.
