TL;DR

Senior Manager (AI): Leading product development teams to deliver AI-powered defence software with an accent on agentic AI and intelligence capabilities. Focus on driving project delivery, coaching multidisciplinary teams, and transforming advanced AI research into real-world military impact.

Location: Aarhus, Denmark. Must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or EU country for the past seven years.

What you will do

  • Lead two product development teams comprising data scientists, developers, architects, and a Scrum master.
  • Hold overall responsibility for software delivery and people leadership for the SitaWare Insight platform.
  • Manage a dedicated Agentic AI product stream to integrate AI agents and capabilities into the platform.
  • Oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, stakeholder alignment, and KPIs.
  • Coach and develop team members while managing recruitment and onboarding for the expanding programme.
  • Drive planning, prioritization, and continuous improvement within an agile environment.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a similar IT-related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex agile software projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams of developers and AI/ML specialists.
  • Must have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years and present a clean criminal record.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with a delivery-oriented approach.
  • Project management qualifications such as PMI/PMP, PRINCE2, or IPMA C/D.

  • Background in AI, machine learning, or data science.
