What you will do

• Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot to power a global search platform.
• Configure and improve Elasticsearch integration, incorporating hybrid, vector search, and GenAI capabilities.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs and ensure high-quality delivery through monitoring and testing.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and automation using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary Agile/Scrum team of engineers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters.
• Ensure all technical solutions meet strict compliance and data protection standards.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, Boards) and Git.
• Experience designing and building REST APIs.
• Testing proficiency with JUnit and Mockito.
• Must be based in the Netherlands with legal authorization to work.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cloud Foundry.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch.
• Experience working with Kafka.
