TL;DR
Dev Ops Engineer (Java/Spring Boot): Designing and building backend services for a global search platform with an accent on hybrid retrieval and generative AI integration. Salary: €5,030 - €7,183 gross monthly

What you will do
- Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot to power a global search platform.
- Configure and improve Elasticsearch integration, incorporating hybrid, vector search, and GenAI capabilities.
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs and ensure high-quality delivery through monitoring and testing.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and automation using Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary Agile/Scrum team of engineers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters.
- Ensure all technical solutions meet strict compliance and data protection standards.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in backend development.
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Solid experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, Boards) and Git.
- Experience designing and building REST APIs.
- Testing proficiency with JUnit and Mockito.
- Must be based in the Netherlands with legal authorization to work.
Nice to have
- Experience with Cloud Foundry.
- Knowledge of Elasticsearch.
- Experience working with Kafka.
