Senior People and Culture Business Partner (AI/HR): Owning the end-to-end HR function for Canadian operations with an accent on federal employment legislation compliance, union relations, and employee lifecycle management. Location: Hybrid; must be based within commutable distance to Greater Sudbury, ON and willing to travel one week per month.

What you will do
- Own the full employee lifecycle for Canadian operations, from attraction and onboarding to performance and exit.
- Serve as the primary expert on Canadian federal employment legislation and translate laws into clear policies.
- Manage the union relationship, including day-to-day contact and supporting collective agreement renegotiations.
- Design and implement leadership development programs and coach senior leaders one-on-one.
- Lead complex case management, including workplace investigations and disability management.
- Implement AI-enabled HR tools and resources to optimize leadership efficiency.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a senior HRBP role, preferably within a global technology company.
- Deep knowledge of Canadian federal employment legislation (Canada Labour Code, Human Rights Act, etc.).
- Proven experience operating in a unionized environment and interpreting collective agreements.
- Experience with Employment Equity and Pay Equity Act obligations and reporting.
- Hands-on experience in complex case management and workplace investigations.
- Comfort using HR data and AI/automation tools to drive insights.
