What you will do

• Design and optimise advanced algorithms for perception and autonomous navigation systems.
• Build computer vision pipelines for detection, tracking, classification, and environmental understanding.
• Develop SLAM and localisation algorithms specifically for GNSS-denied environments.
• Implement and improve state estimation solutions using Kalman filtering and sensor fusion techniques.
• Test, validate, and optimise algorithm performance in both simulation and real-world conditions.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, robotics experts, and system architects on autonomous platforms.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in AI, Robotics, Computer Vision, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Minimum 5 years of professional or academic experience in computer vision and/or autonomous systems.
• Strong knowledge of perception algorithms, SLAM, tracking, and localisation techniques.
• Experience with Kalman filtering, sensor fusion, and state estimation.
• Good programming skills in Python and/or C++.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI and robotics frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, ROS, or OpenCV.
