What you will do

• Develop scalable front-end applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Build integrations with backend systems via REST APIs, GraphQL, and webhooks.
• Design and implement API gateways and event-driven architectures.
• Translate UI/UX concepts into high-performing, composable technical solutions.
• Take ownership of technical architecture and oversee end-to-end project delivery.
• Mentor developers through technical leadership and code reviews.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Groningen, Netherlands.
• 5+ years of commercial experience building modern React applications.
• Proficiency in Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and backend integrations.
• Deep understanding of headless, API-first, and composable architectures.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and client-facing environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with event-driven systems and API gateways.
• Familiarity with SaaS integrations and headless platforms.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (ARIA, WCAG).
• Experience in a digital agency or fast-paced project environment.
