What you will do

• Execute daily modeling tasks including data processing, model adjustment, and result validation.
• Identify and resolve quality and statistical data issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage technical and statistical components of analytical products.
• Collaborate with commercial teams on project design and technical client presentations.
• Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for functional and industry applications.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python is required.
• Solid statistical knowledge with the ability to design new methodologies.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms such as decision trees, random forests, SVM, and XGBoost.
• Effective analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work in an onsite environment in Shanghai.

Nice to have

• Experience with R, VBA, SQL, and visualization tools like Power BI.
• Knowledge of Spark/Pyspark and distributed computing tools like Hadoop or Hive.
• Experience with GIS tools such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
• Background in the FMCG or retail industry.
