Location: Hybrid in Vancouver (office-centric schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday)

Salary: $176,000 - $200,000 CAD

What you will do

• Define and own guidelines for excellent API design and implement best practices across internal teams.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and Data Science to translate developer needs into scalable platform solutions.
• Develop across the full stack using Scala and TypeScript to improve experiences for external developers and AI agents.
• Maintain high code quality and proactively improve existing system architectures.
• Influence the strategic roadmap for the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience working within large, complex codebases.
• 1+ years of experience building public-facing API products or developer platforms.
• Must be based in Vancouver to support an office-centric hybrid schedule.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Scala and TypeScript.
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity.
