What you will do

• Partner with customers and product managers to design and ship effective legal AI agents.
• Optimize agent performance through prompt engineering, model selection, and tool design.
• Implement infrastructure for low-latency agent execution, including caching and parallel tool calls.
• Improve observability and instrumentation to profile agent behavior and identify bottlenecks.
• Develop and maintain evaluation harnesses to drive task completion quality.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and experience working with LLM APIs and agent frameworks.
• Experience shipping user-facing products on the backend or full-stack.
• Strong iterative mindset with the ability to develop proof of concepts and ship quickly.
• Experience using evaluations to drive quality in AI systems.
