TL;DR

What you will do
- Administer and harden Ubuntu Linux servers across production and staging environments.
- Manage and deploy Docker-based applications on GCP VMs.
- Design and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Provision infrastructure using Terraform and automate configuration with Ansible.
- Monitor system health and set up alerting using New Relic and GCP Monitoring.
- Own end-to-end incident response, including detection, resolution, and post-mortem analysis.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of professional DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Linux server administration on Ubuntu.
- Proven experience with GCP compute, networking, storage, and IAM.
- Solid experience with Docker, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Strong Bash scripting skills for automation and deployment tasks.
- Experience working in an Agile environment with close collaboration with development teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure.
- Python scripting skills.
- MySQL performance tuning.
- Interest in GCP cost optimization.
