What you will do

• Design and develop next-generation products and features for Copilot experiences on Windows.
• Build secure and performant platform services that support AI-driven computing.
• Collaborate with researchers, infrastructure, and application engineers to ship high-quality AI services.
• Develop systems capable of reasoning, planning, and executing tasks using agentic workflows.
• Ship well-tested, secure, and maintainable code in a fast-paced, design-driven cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Must be based in or able to work from Redmond, United States.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot).
• Expertise in prompt design, tool usage, and human-in-the-loop systems.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 12-15+ years of extensive technical engineering experience.
• Proven track record of driving adoption of agentic coding tools to improve engineering velocity.
