What you will do

• Lead a specialized "Special Ops" squad of elite engineers focused on fundamental model performance.
• Own the technical strategy for maximizing model intelligence using advanced fine-tuning, including DPO and full-parameter techniques.
• Architect continuous active learning feedback loops leveraging low-confidence triggers to improve training data.
• Advance programmatic intelligence and compiled prompt architecture using DSPy for complex, multi-step agentic reasoning.
• Spearhead model compression efforts to ensure sub-second latencies for production models.
• Conduct applied research with the goal of publishing findings at top-tier conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, and ICLR.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field from a top-tier institution.
• 2 to 5 years of post-PhD experience in applied research or ML engineering, translating research into production.
• Deep expertise in mathematical foundations of LLMs, optimization, and alignment techniques (DPO/RLHF).
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and set the technical pace for a squad of elite engineers.
• Strong bias for action and a focus on achieving measurable production gains.
